lo's from yesterdays crop

Post by kimb on Sun 18 Jan 2009 - 16:36

the above pic of jason and tim was not a very good photo as the sunlight was streaming in through the window , so i made the most of a bad job and tried to draw the eye away from the picture quality , did it work?

the bottom one was a bit of a challenge i set myself , there were a few of the scrapees at the crop doing lo's that had barely anything on the page so i tried to do minimal , but i just had to stick something in the top right corner Very Happy

Lots of things I like about these, the brad? on the top one, and the snowflake, the frosty letters, the reindeer, I have one of those, 2 are great though, bit worried about Jasons lack of trousers.
The bottom one is lovely, I'd like to see it without the extra bit though, I think that the very lovely bit of lace takes my eye away from the photo and the phrase, but can't really tell unless it wasn't there.
Wow you were busy.

Super, Kim. Mr Green Loving Frosty. Laughing Hard

I think with the bottom one, I'd take off the bit in the top corner though. It seems to unbalance the LO somehow. Loving the pic and phrase though. Mr Green

oooerr for some reason i have not got all the 12 x 12 inch in of the bottom one , there is a tag at the top left corner ??? i was unsure of that bit of lovely lace but i liked it and wanted to use it , so i did !!!!
oh well i will try and redo it

the brad in the top one is an old fashioned badge , it was a bu***r to stick down but good old diamond glaze turned up trumps again

jason always wears shorts in the house , he was not sitting around in his undies.... or less ..honest

patty it would be fanbloomingtastic if we could crop together , id love to do that , maybe we should be planning another weekend sometime ...helen where are you we'd totally wipe out the shop stock this time

All different, all very good.
Like the Frosty one, and good idea to make the best of a not so good quality photo - draw the eyes to the main bit.

I'm like you Kim - I find it difficult to do minimal.
Love the Christmas tree one and Frosty (nice lettering as well).
