Altered Art club

Post by Guest on Sun 18 Jan 2009 - 15:35

Here's the little pull out accordion book I made at Altered Art on Friday. Front covers are done with crackle paste, then chalked. Inner pages are fixed with accordion pleats left and right of covers, then the pages interleave left to right. Great fun!! But a bit hard to photograph.

Something really different. Pretty colours you have used.

Gorgeous colours, Patty, and looks like a fabulous book - as you say, hard to photograph!

Ooh that's pretty, when people say altered my mind automatically to brown and grungy, this isn't like that at all. Quite elegant.
I know, I'll never get the hang of altered stuff, but no matter, I'm happy looking at the work of those who do.

Yes, it's rather clever the way the pages "interleave" from left to right, but it is rather a nice little thing!

Can't believe you don't want a tutorial Suzy lol! lol! lol!

It's lovely Patty. Love the pages as well as the front. Very effective.
I bought some cheap notebooks today and am going to alter
them for the family, Eventually, that is - project for later in the year.
