Where's the button?
It's lovely, liking all white/ecru.
Can't remember if I took a pic of mine. Or on what, that's more to the point, big girls camera, normal camera, phone?
The verse I read when handing over the bracelet was ....

To our lovely friend Maria
the Canny girls wish they were here
to see you on your wedding day,
congratulate, and shout hooray.
This day all thoughts are in Cazaux
with Maria and JL; her Beau.
So in keeping with tradition,
here's a gift in mint condition.

You have something old, and something new
from the Canny Girls, here's something blue.

That's lovely, Karelyn - thankyou for composing it on our behalf. The button ended up on a tag, as Di had originally suggested - as I got into making the card, it obviously wasn't going to suit the rest of the design. Well, I say 'design' in the loosest possible sense, as I didn't really have any idea what I was going to make when I started!

Beautiful card Lynda, I didn't do the button tag as I didn't know that anyone else was going to.

That's a great verse Karelyn.

Great picture, Maria - you all look as if you're having a wonderful time.

I did tell everyone about doing the button tag, Di, and I know some said they would do one so not sure how many there were. Which reminds me: must go and clear out my in and out boxes.

Shows how much notice I took Lynda, I remembered the button bit but forgot the tag bit, so I put mine on my card. I had the Union flag one but had to make the tricoleur button. Here's mine;

I wish I'd known the colour scheme, mind you I'd have probably been stumped if I had, but I like to link it if I can.

Thanks Maria, that is a nice one, sorry Lynda, for hijacking your thread.
I'd have liked to join in with more but your Mum and Tim had finished the clearing up by the time we got there.
It was fab, and they were a fab bunch of people to get along with, even the tricky one ;) Mark had him on a fairly tight leash/rein LOL.
I was pleased that we managed with my basic French and I would encourage anyone who's thinking they might manage a trip over, to go. Despite the delay and roadworks it wasn't too difficult, although I thought Jen was v brave going it alone, I did have a navigator, albeit one without a map.
It was so nice to see all the people and some of the places you talk about Maria, and it's easy to see why you live there, it's beautiful.

Love the new avatar, Maria! Lovely card, Karelyn: I did say I was going to put my button on the card, so you're not imagining things! Not sure who else sent a button?
