Feathered visitor

Post by Di Masters on Wed 28 Feb 2018 - 13:22

This is the handsome chap who calls on my Tues lady most days for his snack. He stands right by the glass looking in until she opens the door and throws him some oats lol. I took the pic yesterday.

It's funny that he visits as she is surrounded by other houses in the middle of an estate, not as if he wanders in from nearby fields.

Odd, that, Di - I thought you'd say she was rural there. We had a grouse in the garden once, but we are fairly rural, and of course often see pheasants on the roads round here.

He used to be accompanied by a Partridge, not seen him for a while though.
The fields are not too far away but he has to fly over the estate to get to her garden, whichever direction he comes from.

Great pic, we had some unusual birds outside the other day, got a pic on Mick's phone, you've just reminded me that I need to look up what they were.
