Fabulous background: was it inks, Cynthia? Funny, I just translated it, then read down and Ruth would have saved me the effort!

And well done for finally cracking whatever was making things come out upside down, Cynthia.

I did the same Lynda, but was quite pleased I'd got it right when I read the translation. Love the colours, very nice this one.

The background was done with acrylic paints not inks. usual type of journal background for me

Yes the main design was one stamp the words others from the same set. It a lovely stamp set very delicate.
Ha ha The secret is create your backgrounds using various media , then scan them onto card so you can use them again plus not as bulky to post off. Hence why they look like they are done using inks.
If your into art journaling then print them onto paper instead of card then you can tear then up for texture and colour on your page ready to work over again.

That's a great trick/technique, Cynthia - I guess a lot of us wouldn't think of doing that! After all, it's original artwork, so why shouldn't you scan it and print it?
