Embroideries 3

Post by lyndaejane on Thu 8 Jan 2015 - 19:13

This is one of a set of four. They were by the needlework bead company Mill Hill: there was an advertisement in one of the American magazines for kits for the full set of six - didn't want all six and didn't really want to spend the money so, as the pictures were big enough to copy, I made my own patterns for four of them (with a few tweaks of my own). Sorry it's a bit on the skew: think it's shifted in the frame.

That's super, very fresh but Christmassy, although of course it could be all year too.

Just the odd ornament now and then, Kim, but nothing big these days. Whilst tidying up in here, I found three ornaments that I'd stitched years ago but had only put backing on and stuffed this year - obviously left them in the bag because I wasn't going to root about in the loft and put them with the others. So they missed being displayed this Christmas! Still have a few more to put backings on.
