Craft room No 2 or is it 3 now?

Post by cb on Sun 6 Apr 2014 - 12:14

I started with my craft room downstairs, moved to the top floor (we live in a town house with 3 floors) and now settled, I think, on the middle floor.

The shelf with the box and the unit behind are going.

Part of the fitted wardrobe.

[
Dislpay of some of mine and a few of your makes. The church is made of matchsticks which my granddad had made for my first holy communion over 40 years ago and reminds me very much of the church where we got married. The roof opens and it is all lined inside.

Good space there, Cath. Have you found a good way of storing stuff in the wardrobe - found that very difficult when I was using the previous spare room at the old house. Started by piling boxes one on another and was forever wanting something from the bottom box! Did find a use for the hanging rail, though, as there's a limit to what you can store beneath it for the reasons mentioned: all you need are some wire hangers, like the ones you get in the dry cleaners. If you're a quilter, you can hang your fabrics over them. I also put the storage boxes for my embroidery threads in 12 x 12 plastic bags, punched a hole in the top and hung those over the hanger. Could also do that for 12 x 12 papers.

Lovely space, lucky to be able to have so much room. The church is a smashing reminder of your grandfather.

Lovely serene colours, very tidy, you need to get it messed up a bit, I expect you are a tidy teddy though. The church is beautiful, very special.

Wont always be this tidy when I'm working in there. Tom chose these colours, just need to make the other room blue now rather than pink.
