Story Time

Post by Lorraine on Sun 2 Nov 2008 - 11:46

Another LO I struggled with. Everything I put on it, didn't seem to 'fit' and in the end, I thought, maybe the paper is telling me it doesn't actually need anything else, so..I left it. It's not one of my faves though. Papers are Crate Carnival.

Journaling is just a little bit about how even when she's surrounded by toys, she still loves her books.

love that strap with the eyelets on, and its not your normal style but its still a nice layout and another set of photos scrapped, another story told and another layout for you, Mia and Nic to enjoy in the future.

Lovely layout Lorraine - and I like the colours and style, despite not being your "usual". Anyhow, what is actually "usual" sometimes needs a change too!!

It's lovely. I think it's because the papers are so 'busy' - you don't need a lot of embellishment. Hope she continues to like her books too.

You've got eyelets ribbon and blossoms on there with 3+ PP clap and you want more??????
I'm glad you left it. Loving the keen-ness (is that a word?) on book at any age, but particularly this young, there's hope for the world.

Thanks, girls. Mr Green

You know, Karelyn, I got my first pic of Mia reading a book when she was 3 months old and that's mentioned on the journaling too. I did do a LO about it, but it's over on tuther Canny, (you saw it).

She loves to read, paper or electronic books, she's not fussy. Very Happy

Another fab LO, Lorraine. I think it's good to have a different style. Wouldn't a scrapbook get a bit boring if every page was done the same way? I think we need to change, or we stagnate.

It's great that Mia loves her books. I encouraged all my kids to read for pleasure and Kerry and Simon do the same with their kids too. Now, they practically devour books at an alarming rate! Mr Green
