Mirror, mirror, on the radiator actually...

Post by thriftycrafter on Sat 27 Apr 2013 - 19:45

Bored yet? Another metal tape project, I got this when I got the frame and I'm v pleased with how it's turned out. Was wondering about putting some embossing on the base too but decided it would hold dust too much so left it plain, it's for DS2 who dusts less than me I should think!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

That's great Karelyn. Have you put details about how to do this somewhere?

Karin it's plumbers aluminium tape, I went on a retreat where they showed us this technique. It's put on paper, embossed, stuck to the item with DST then painted with acrylic and then the paint rubbed off to leave a bit of the black on there, easy and v effective.
Lynda said she thought it might work with wine foils.
