Wedding Card

Post by kt_dragonfly on Sat 27 Apr 2013 - 12:04

So I started this card at the retreat as someone messaged me if I could make one for them and just now about finished it, waiting for the stupid vellum sheet to dry which is taking forever!!!

Anyway, she wants to pay me for it, but no idea what to charge Groan any suggestions?

I would have thought at least 5, Kate - there is so much work there. Gorgeous card!

Why buy a card for 3.50 when you can make it yourself with 27 of craft supplies?

Yup, minimum of a fiver, it's gorgeous!

As a rule, when I used to make cards, I would add up cost of materials and double it. Mind you, that was for bulk orders; one-offs take more time and effort.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date Laughing

Debating whether piece of ruddy vellum will be dry yet, don't want to smudge it, argh!

gentle heat gun it (from a distance). Had problems with vellum myself, not easy.

Lovely card kate, love all the layers.
