Eddy's 65th Card

Post by lyndaejane on Sun 16 Dec 2012 - 18:54

We don't normally exchange birthday cards, but it's Eddy's 65th on the 23rd so I just had to send one. Eddy has played in a group ever since I've known him (47 years) and I saw this card in one of my books:

It wasn't easy to do: as you see, the strings aren't central! The front of the card is cut away, round the shape of the guitar, so it's the back of the card blank you can see on the right. But it looks quite effective.

Well you'd not notice the strings not being central, I suppose if you've been the one lining them up you might, but they look fine. What a great card, he'll be v pleased I'm sure.

What a great card, the strings don't need to be central they are set right with the guitar.
