Yay Finally did something!

Post by Bead Queen - Carol on Sun 2 Dec 2012 - 23:12

Yay i have finally got around to doing some beading! (don't faint now will ya lol ) :P All the insomnia i have been suffering during my recuperation has at least been productive lol hehehe. I am part of the operation tackle that bead stash blog/facebook group, and was sent a challenge pack of beads to make items from one of our sponsors, and the theme was 'Rain' So i came up with this set...

Then this one is made using beads from my own stash, but it is a free pattern of Sabine Lipperts http://www.trytobead.com/index.php?id=571 It is a fab tutorial, and really easy to follow too. Works up really quick, so i thought i may just have to make some of these as christmas presents for the ladies.

Lovely, Carol: hope there's a prize for the first one and that you win! The bracelet looks great, and if it's as easy as you say I might even make one for my cousin - certainly very attractive.

The bracelets are delicious Carol, and the colours on the rain set are very pretty, it's good you made use of the insomnia.

Goodness, Carol - how many hours in the night have you been up beading? Those tile beads look interesting.
