From Lorraine to Lynda

I don't think the lace is quite this white irl, it's more creamy.


The inside before I'd quite finished it. After I put the fastener on, there is a strip of lace along the top of the lid to cover the brads.

You're right, Lorraine: the lace isn't like it looks in the 'photo: it's cream, and the whole thing is darker, in a more-vintage sort of way. It's absolutely fabulous, and I'm very lucky. I did send you a PM, but it might have got lost (will have to check) because when I pressed send I had one of the usual problems we get with AOL.

Wow, looks wonderful and we know from experience it will be even better IRL, I love the deep red of the base colour against the papers etc.
