Mothering Sunday card

Post by thriftycrafter on Sun 18 Mar 2012 - 19:33

Here's the card I made which was also a challenge to include birds, stitching and pale pink.

This was a LO for SFTIO on the theme of dreams and depicts a dream I used to have when Dh was on nights and I had to get the kids out of our burning house.

Pretty card.

That's a very dramatic layout, I like the way you have done the journalling even if it is about a really bad dream!

Great card, I am both horrified and impressed by it in equal measures if you know what I mean. I used to have fire nightmares when I was a child to the extent that my Dad tried to set fire to the ceiling in our front room to prove to me that if there was a fire downstairs it wouldn't shoot through the floorboards before the smoke alarm had alerted us to the danger

Gorgeous card, but blurdy 'ell, that's some dream and some layout too. Don't know if I could have scrapped that. Well done, hun.
