Looks like the same stamp Lorraine used on my birthday card - if hers and Tina's flowers are the effects you can get, I simply must get one!

It was a freebie with Craft Stamper, Lynda, and I use it loads! You can buy them though; when I get home I'll have a look for the mag and see where.

I got the top right one: really like these - are they done on a brown paper bag, Tina? And edited to say, have you had time to locate which company's stamp is the flower by, please (know things are fairly frantic for you)?

It's glassine paper, 'technique of the month' with Scrapaholix the other week. Have had a quick look and couldn't find magazine, but will look harder on Sunday.

Thanks, Tina. Would never have guessed it was glassine paper: it felt a bit odd for paper bag, but thought that might be the "treatment" it had had!

Did try to do a search for the stamp, but didn't have much success: was hoping not to have to bother you.

I have found it. The stamp and mag.

Its on the August 2010 and its by Innovative Stamp Creations, ISC for short. They say it co-ordiates with the Friends are Special set, which does not have a flower with writing on but does have flowers and a news paper background on it. Available from Scrapz in the uk, is what it say's in the mag. Hope this helps.

Re: Tina

Post by lyndaejane on Sun 4 Mar 2012 - 11:18

Right: have had a good look round. Scrapz don't have the Friends are Special set or anything like the flower, so went onto the ISC website. The Friends are Special set does have two flowers shaped exactly like these, two different sizes, but not with the text on them: some text is also included in the set. I guess either it was a special they did for the mag, or maybe they used to do "singles" and don't do them any more. As it's $20 for the sheet and goodness knows how much the postage would be (it's $5.95 for inland US), I might as well use an existing flower stamp plus a text stamp!

Sorry you did all that digging for nothing, Alison.

NO problem Lynda, the mags are all by my bed and the info was on the ideas to do with your free stamp page. So easy peasy. Laughing Maybe someone on here has it and doesn't use it so would RAK it to you. I use mine so sorry it wont be me. As you say if you had one similar and some text and do a reverse mask on the flower.

Re: Tina

I could just stamp a whole load of text and just stamp the flower over the top, if I was going to cut it out (like Tina's and Lorraine's), so no problem there, Alison. If I'm desperate, I know I can ask at least three of you to stamp a few for me!
