Lynda's lovely birthday cards

Post by lyndaejane on Wed 22 Feb 2012 - 13:22

Hope this works: am having trouble with my scanner (printer) software and not worth re-loading it because we're going over to a wireless printer:

Steph's fabulous fan card (stand not in the picture). The more you look at it, the more you keep seeing!

Top left Di's (lovely colouring, Di), top right Alison's (one of your gorgeous die-cuts and some lovely bling), bottom Lorraine's (what can I say, fabulous as always - and I love the metal jewels).

Gorgeous colours on these two: top is Ruth's (I was going to ask if the flower is a stamp and punch/die set, except that with your expertise you'd be able to cut out the flower that perfectly!), bottom is Patty's (flowers are so cute, and I love the way the patterned mount is slotted through the card blank).

Top left is Dawn's (gorgeous layering on that one), bottom left is Jo's (lovely touchy-feely embossed papers and the door of the little toadstool house opens!), right hand is Billie's (lovely wisteria and lots of bling - picture really doesn't do it justice).

Top left Maria's (with its lovely vintage feel and my sort of colours), bottom left is Tina's (superbly striking card, and I think Tina's cryptic message "It was a hard job sourcing the bits to recycle for your card, but somebody had to do it!" means that a box of chocolates was sacrificed in the process), right is Karelyn's (in a similarly striking set of colours, and also mindful of my passion for recycling - it started life as a bookmark but was too long and the ribbon is recycled).

Thankyou all for my wonderful selection of cards and the pleasure they brought.

Wow, they're all fabulous! Not going to do a 'Maria' and choose, I'll leave that to her.

And yes, but not chocolates, Gu chocolate and vanilla cheesecakes. Would have been rude not to Wink

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

And it's odd how they finished up together, Lorraine, as I was just fitting them onto the scanner so that I got as many as I could in one scan.

So where did you get the metal jewels from? Really nice for mens cards, they would be.

Do you mean the little rows of pearls? That's all they are hun I think. I actually can't remember if they're flat back pearls or if I used my Tim Holtz liquid pearls.

Just had a look at an enlarged pic. They're sticky back pearls Lynda. Not sure which make or specific colour, but they're readily available.

Yes, Lorraine - now the weather has brightened up I can see they're pearls! I think it was because they are a bronzy colour that it fooled me!
