I am like Lorraine if I could have afforded Copics then I'd have got those, I have a few and I like the nibs, although the Flexmarkers from Letraset have a similar brush nib. If money was no object then I'd get the Trias

I got some Spectrum Noirs but don't rate them at all but lots of people do like them.

For Promarkers I'd choose a main colour then a couple of shades eg. Lavendar as the main colour then Lilac and Violet as the shades; Red, Poppy and Crimson;Meadow Green, Apple and Leaf Green and so on.

Hmm, I was thinking (with my budget) more along the lines of a dozen in total, 1 purple, 1 pink, 1 light blue, 1 dark blue, etc etc. Crying Laughin

Anyway, after Kate's tremendous sales pitch I have ordered some; if they don't live up to the hype I will hold her personally responsible Peeing Laughing

Only problem with only buying a few is that the colours are never enough. I probably have about 100 ProM and still find the occasional time I haven't quite got the right colour to match the paper LOL.

The good thing with these as well though is like paint, they mix well. so if you do the yellow/blue thing you will end up with green and not just one colour on top of the other one.

When colouring with these i always do it in small circles, not stripes of colour because that way you see the line edges.

Lorraine once did a comparison on these when we all first started buying them. It might be found under a search LOL.

Whispers are the ones that I had, that I have just replaced. As per my earlier post I now have a reasonable collection of Promarkers, but thanks for the offer.

As for spectrum Noir tina, the ladies at craft group advised using momento ink or another i don't recall rather than our trusty stazon ink for stamping. x

Don't worry; I'm sticking with promarkers anyway now I have bought them, but Stazon isn't any good for any of the alcohol based pens, as it's solvent based.
