Here's some pics from this morning. He's freshly shed (a complete one, so I'm really chuffed) and lovely and shiny. Length of shed was 25 inches, so he's not very big, as you can see by the pics of my hand. Gonna clean the viv out this aft' and get rid of the bits of wet sphagnum moss and put a nice new bit of wood in and some aspen shavings on the bottom. I've had the white paper in for a couple of weeks so I could see any mites that I hadn't killed but he's doing really well now. One more spray should see the back of them.

Depends Maria. Depends on how much he eats and how often. He eats a small mouse every 4-5 days at the moment. This is his 2nd shed since I've had him and he's putting weight on nicely, but at an estimate, I'd say probably once a month...ish. Not very accurate eh? lol.

Karelyn, I bin 'em. Mr Green

This is his new set up..all lovely and clean, just like him. Smile

lol!

Kim, I tried to hide the tuppaware box as best I could, but that's his humidity hide and yes, he does like it, lol. Just have to live with it I suppose because they don't seem to make them especially for this use and of course, it needs a base on it because of the wet/damp stuff that goes in.

Phew, shopped out now, got everything except a bin and he can get that when he gets there, he's taking cardboard boxes so one of those will do at the start.
My heart sank when I got almost back to the car and saw a PCSO mking notes, I rounded the corner and, whew no ticket on my car, just wondering if everythimg comes through the post now though, as I was a bit longer than the free half hour, oops. DH will advise no doubt.
Got my fave pair of sandals reheeled so I'm set up for next year with them.
Also went to the dreaded Asda and did the usual, although it was only 34 for 2 items on my list, in the basket also dropped a 10 dress, which looks like it won't need ironing so will be perfect for work, a good bike lock for Evan, memory stick and some choc muffins, I think there were other things too, but that's what I remember.
Chloe is home from school and has got sociology instead of psychology this year, which will only amount to an AS, but what can you do. I think she'll enjoy it.
Must make sure I've got my land girl kit ready, panto rad through tonight, we're back into the routine alright, I should be glad I'm busy I suppose.
