Our resident under the shed

Post by Di Masters on Fri 1 Jul 2011 - 10:02

We have had a hedgehog family living under one of the sheds for a few years, Mum and Dad are quite a size now but this must be one of the newer members of the clan.
He has been out on the patio over the last few evenings, enjoys the stuff the birds drop from feeders, quite a good little hoover in fact lol.

Fab pics!!

We used to have hedgehogs in our old garden, but none here; I do miss them.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

These were taken at about 10pm last night, it sat still for four pics then turned around and went off through the mint and shrubs as if saying 'right you've got your photo and I'm off' lol.

Well they are flea ridden, tis true, but think of how many slugs and snails they eat in the course of their lifetime. You only get the fleas from them if you handle them or walk really close so the fleas can jump on to the human - but animal fleas don't actually live on humans, just make you itch like mad!!!
