Happiness is a new sewing machine and a couple of fat quarters to play with!

Oh, nice one, Tina! Perhaps this will inspire me to do something with all my fat quarters.

It's a Buttercup Bag by Rae; free pattern from the Burda style website.

Ah, but some vintages are better than others.
As Miss Brodie would say, you are the creme de creme.

Kim, I made it just for the sake of it really, and to see if I could!

Patty, you must be a Gucci then! I'm not looking for anything in particular, but hope to take inspiration from whatever I can acquire; if you (or anyone else) have any recommendations for good online fabric shops please point me in their direction.

Tina - have a look at Hancocks of Paducah - it is in the States, of course, but still works out far, far cheaper than any good quality 100% colour-fast cottons here in the UK, and I only use that type of fabric for my quilts. I was serious about giving you fabrics if you have any particular needs, just ask!
