Heres a link to my website (I need to spell check everything again I have done it four times now and still keep finding things!!!) and am still adding things all the time, and trying to make sure everything is uniformed throughout like text colour etc. BUt I would be very grateful for your comments, ideas, critisisms etc etc at this stage

My friends have had a look and some of them say you have to scroll to see the full website, now when I open it on my laptop this is not the case, how do you all find it?

Thanks so much everyone in advance I really love this forum for ideas, help and support xxxx

Looking good Emma.
Just a couple little things I noticed. Where you have written
1. Deliver to recipient - you have "are you wanting to card ..." so needs correction.
2. "Any card you see ....." I would write as "Any card design can be adapted. Colours, font, wording, names or embellishments. Even a photograph could be added."

I can see the whole width when I have it fully open.

I have just visited your super website and I find it very easy to use, and
your previous business prowess shows.
Of course we have to scroll to see all the content of each page, that is normal.
Sounds like your friends do not use PCs frequently.
I do more shopping via my PC's than normal shopping, so I think it is good.
If I can't find what I want fast with easy working web sites I just give 'em a miss and go elsewhere.
Your site varies from page to page depending how much content you have on it.
I can't wait to see it finished.

You beat me to it Di, I was in the middle of putting it up. lol!

Emma, Di's No.2- "Any card you can see" I would write
Any card you can see and fancy, I can adapt for you.

PS. the longest button is the 'Wedding' page

Looks good Emma, and you have a nice wide selection of cards.

I see that you are using stamped images, have you made sure that you have checked the Angel policies on the stamps (apologies if you have already), likewise copyright with the images of Pink etc.

Under "Reminder service available", Emma, it says:

to ensure birthday are not forgotton

Shouldn't that be "to ensure birthdays are not forgotten"

Apart from that, and the other comments above, do make sure you aren't taking on too much: all the other services you offer, and particularly if they are free - would you cope OK if everyone opted for the free services?

Just taking better look now I'm back from work and notice you have spelt "previously" wrong in text next to Butterfly Kisses on wedding invites page.
"Subtle" is spelt wrong on the two gems bit of Once upon a time.
You have Luscious wrong in lots of places, not lushious as you have it.

One or two other spelling/punctuation mistakes that I came across on the wedding page so if I were you I would go back over it slowly and read them out loud. I always find things seem to stand out more if I read it out.

I could see the whole width of the page and it all looks lovely.
I just looked at the home and female pages;
Here's a few more tweaks for you,
Grandmother's has no ' in
patter is missing it's n and moder missing it's n
you've got off course instead of; of course
the u is mising from endeavour
upmost instead of utmost
you've got the male spelling of fiance, in the female list - it should be fiancee with the accent on the first e (Maria will check that for us)
'that special women', should be those or that woman
shopaholics is missing it's a

a personal bugbear, is where you've used the word quality (reminds me of market traders, who I love, but rarely sell top quality) I would prefer good/best quality, but that's an oldies view.
I was amused by one phrase but I'm not sure it's the image you want to put over;
any spare time I get I use to make family.....
Perhaps something like cardmaking is a serious hobby of mine,
customers aren't really bothered who you make cards for apart from themselves, although the local shops is a good inclusion.

Nit pick over. It's a nice site the cards are shown well, I like where you've written e.g. 'Betsy shown as an example'.
I'm sure you'll do well with it.

Thank you all so much for your comments, just what I needed. I am just trawling through everything and "fixing" it on my website.

I am trying to find a spell checker for my website, as I just keep missing stuff all the time.

Di, hilarious with the lushious been spelt wrong, its because I always say everything is Lush LOL

In terms of FREE items, the wine charms really dont take long to do, and the free cards, wil be quite simple, I would like to say I dont think many people will take up on it BUT it would be great if they did LOL

Thrifty I know what you mean about the "quality" I will definately change that (alot of what I have written has just been as I am thinking I am writing) so it is good to get a second point of view.

Thank you all so much again.

Has anyone got any tips on website advertising, to get links etc to and from website
thanks in advance xxx
