Shopping favour request....

Post by Scrap Monkey on Thu 3 Feb 2011 - 16:20

...if anyone is able to help me please?

I am looking for one of those mini-easels, to display a layout on at my crop. I have found a couple online, but they are way too expensive Crying or Very sad .I heard that either The Works or Ikea do them for not much money......but we don't have those shops out here in the sticks Shocked Laughing .

Would anyone be able to pick one up for me at some point and post it to me pretty please? I will of course cover all your costs (and can offer coffee by way of an extra incentive Laughing ).

Thanks!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date Laughing

hmm, not sure........def don't have the budget to spend 10 at the moment......and I think they are a lot cheaper in the cheapy shops. Do you mind if I hold off on making a decision just in case someone else can get me an el-cheapo one?

How expensive is too expensive, Tina? There are some on eBay that are around 4 including postage, which will be a fair bit even if someone on here posts one to you.

Am I too late? Just remembered where I'd seen one here - you'd be welcome to it if you'd like it.

Oh, good, Tina: the easel is just under 12" high; the ledge where you rest your stuff is just under 3" from the bottom and it's 6.5" wide, so should support a layout. As I say, you'd be very welcome to have it (can't even remember why I bought it): it wasn't expensive so I don't want anything for it. Let me know and I'll get it in the post either tomorrow or Saturday.

I knew there was a good reason for tidying up the loft yesterday.

Only place I could think of was the Range, they have a lot of different painting things. Lol Lynda, there's always a reason for these things.

Kate kindly sent me one last month. It's cute and perfect for
ATCs and smaller cards. I still have KTs ATC still on it.

Lovely surprise today: a packet of coffee in the post! Thanks so much, Tina - and you remembered we had the espresso grind, too.

Will look forward to that: may let our friend Mick have a cup when they come at the weekend (Irene doesn't like coffee).
