Flippin woman 40th

Post by gingerjo on Mon 17 Jan 2011 - 0:17

I made this for my friends 40th. She opened it, never said a word and put it back in the envelope so I was quite upset really. I thought it was quite funny and it took me ages to do! Would it upset you?

Nowt so queer as folk eh?

Diamond glaze on the cafetierre. Oh and she does drink coffee BTW.

If you are still having problems Billie, try logging out of the forum totally
and starting fresh. Other than what I put on the other thread, don't know what to suggest. Anybody else got any suggestions ? I can see all the photos but
it has happened to me in the past.

I had the same image on my card from Lou, thought it was great!
Think your friend was either in a bad mood or needs a humour transplant lol, either way I'm not surprised you were upset.

I'd have rammed it in her 'coffee cup', ungrateful sod.

It's super, Jo.

Smashing Card Jo, some people eh? I love that image.
My bil's partner never comments, or even looks at the front of her card for that matter, goes straight in to find the cheque, I now make hers with as little effort and as cheeply as I can, last years cost more to post than matterial used and the envelope was reused. Thats how you will have to make for her next year, if you bother at all.

My MIL never even opened cards or gifts in front of us.
I love it, but I suppose if she's feeling a bit jaded and hoping not to, it might make her think that's how you see her, put it down to age and PMT.
I wouldn't be offended, did she do the same with anyone else's?

My best mate is 40 in a few days... and I know she is gonna love the flippin card I made for her! A shame some people have to suffer from acute sense of humour failure........

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing
