Bring me sunshine

Post by Guest on Wed 29 Sep 2010 - 16:56

Here's what I have been up to yesterday and today. These are the fields of sunflowers around Mia's house in Cazaux. Hardly surprising that she should want to stay there is it?

Oh Patty, this is absolutely brilliant! Love the way you have done the sunflower cut-out, and the whole thing just makes we want to smile!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

Well these sunflowers made me smile, even on the very darkest of days in August, because they are so very spectacular aren't they? So glad you like it!

I think Van Gogh put me off sunflowers as they always seem to put that picture in Dr's waiting rooms, so I associate it with feeling ill. Not my fave shade of yellow in that pic. So I'm always surprised at how sunflowers look so attractive and cheery IRL
It is very sunny and lifts the mood on a dull day.

Really cheerful that, Patty.

I was looking at a very sad sunflower today next door to Ruth and thinking what a shame it's on its way out.

Lovely LO Patty, and yes I can see why Maria doesn't want to move away from there.
Hope you see this Lorraine, but even if the sunflower next to Ruth is going over I hope they leave the head on so that it gets lots of little birds feeding from the seeds all winter.

Beautiful, far better than the one or two that lurk in parents gardens after the school sends their kids home with the blasted things in a plastic cup
