Camera KAPUTT

Post by Guest on Sun 26 Sep 2010 - 23:41

Well I think my camera has had it....is fully charged but when I try to turn it on the lights come on and then flash off so wont turn on now worst possible time to happen, but I really cnt do without a camera with my two little ladies changing everyday!, maybe I will look see if I can get a new battery first on ebay.

Anyway I was wondering what camera's you all have, how professional are they, what would you recommend and what price bracket are they in. I can say I ahve a budget yet as I need to sweet talk my husband so will see!!!

Thanks

i have a few cameras
1...a fuji finepix s 5600 or it might be 6500 not got it with me right now ,son has borrowed it !! supposedly for 1 day and that was around 6 months or so ago so i guess he likes it . paid about 140 new .quite big but lightweight and takes lovely pics
2...sony cybershot 12.1 megapixels. very small and pink ,easy to use ,cost around 130 i think. pics not as clear as fuji finepix
3. canon pocket camera ,quite old now .only 2 megapixelshence being in back of wardrobe
4..pentax ???cost a lot of money.non digi..hence being in back of wardrobe

its a minefield looking at new cameras but to compare pricesand spec and to read reviews both customer and professional use

Snap Kim (geddit? LOL), i have the Fuji S5600 and love it to bits! Got mine a few years back (to replace a previous Fuji), when Argos stuffed up on their prices for a few days!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date Laughing

We've got a few too, though its a case of newish ones so older ones got ignored. We've got our everyday one and then I have an older one upstairs for taking pics of cards, though since I got my phone a few months back I tend to use that for everything.

Emma, go take a look at THIS.

Fabulous camera for a fabulous price. Mine is a digital SLR and hundreds of pounds, but I very nearly bought myself one of these just to carry around. You can't go wrong for 43 and they're a good website.

I get an email every day from these with 4 new offers on.

I have an Olympus mui or something like that, I got the water resistant ( not underwater, just ok for rain) one and I think it is starting to protest after having been dropped many times, that said it does all I want for a camera which must be at least 6 yrs old now, I do always make sure I buy a camera with rechargeable battery as I can't stand the price or the non eco friendly aspect of batteries. It fits nicely in my pocket or bag and has macro, self timer etc etc, I'm looking to replace it with the modern equivalent which will have much higher zoom etc for the same price.

Tesco's E-bay shop has some reconditioned cameras at reasonable prices.

I found it by accident LOL
