Cards I've entered for Challenges

Post by karinlouise on Mon 13 Sep 2010 - 11:30

I've actually got my act together this week and looked at the different sites I like for challenges and put them all together on a card.
The different challenges were for Halloween, Pearls and Pins, Flowers, Stripes and Dots, Transport, Anything Goes and Celebrations.

SO I decided on this one. Halloween is a celebration but is also the Pagan New Year. I haven't used pins in cards before so stuck two of the half pearls I had together at the top of a dress pin to make one. Quite chuffed with that I am. Transport, well I decided that the broomstick is the witches form of transport so why not LOL. Stripe dress on dotty shapes. Flowers are embossed on panel as well as made for edges.

And this one was a card I was asked to do for a Boys Christening, and decided to enter it in to a challenge titled Bundle of Joy. First time I've put charms on a card.

I've not done a card for the challenges for a couple of weeks, so I clicked all the links of the blogs I know have them, looked at what the theme's were and then made the card deliberatly to fit. Plus its a challenge in itself to get it all in LOL
I've seen some cards on some blogs have 15-20 challenges it covers. Don't think I could do that.
