Use a pen Karin. You can use a pencil too, but that's more for shading, and only if you want to.

Whether you leave a border is entirely up to you.

Shall I sign you up, or do you want to have a go first?

I finished mine tonight and I used pen.

Idea I'll hang on to them for a couple of days Tina and send your
Canny ATC at the same time.

For linking and visiting my How-to-Zentangle page. Glad you are enjoying making them.

There are other pages linked to that one with more step-by-steps and resources.

This looks like a great place to hang out.

Hi Tina,

I didn't invent Zentangles (unfortunately) but thank you for your kind words :)

We live in Brynna - between Cardiff and Bridgend. So is this mainly a UK forum?

I have finished mine. well i need to choose 4 from the several dozen I have done so far!!

Bev, if you go to the 'general chat' thread, we have a thing called 'incidental' which is where we do our day to day chat. There's also a bit called 'introduce yourself' which can be a great way to erm, introduce yourself Laughing

I live in Pembroke Dock, not a million miles from you.

Re: Zentangle Swap

Post by karinlouise on Fri 10 Sep 2010 - 11:37

Mind posted yesterday so should be with you soon. Lily's actually done a couple too but she did hers in pencil. One of the ones I did that I didn't like myself, she loved so I kept it back and am going to swap with her.

I wish I was as creative as some of you though, mine just seem like blocks of nothing. Loved the ones Bobs did.

I make my own ATCs by cuttinguploads at one time on the
guillotine. As long as they are 3 x 2 that is good enough
and you can make them from plain or patterned card.
