They look very nice, Kate. Mr Green
How come you haven't got any big blobs all over them. I always do. I can't get on with them at all. Crying or Very sad

Is that with the glimmer mist? Mum was told by the person she bought them off at the scrap shop to do sweeping movements and I also blotted with a paper towel.

With the paper soft color, Cynthia lent me the sponge application and told me to do very light circular motions to spread it around. Also to only show the applicator the tub of ink as a lot goes a long way!

Yeah...the glimmer mists. Hate them. I've had them about 18 months and there's six inches of dust on them, lol. I've tried everything and still can't get them to look how I want so I gave up.

Not heard of those inks. Are they liquid, solid, powder or what?

I bought all three sets of THESE to paint my images with and can't get on with them either, so they've been shoved in a drawer and I use my distress pads or Promarkers.

Honestly, the money I've wasted on all these new fangled fads. It's no joke.

well ive never heard of those Lorraine, and the main problem I have with the glimmers is them blocking and coming out splotchy.

The paper soft inks are liquid. They come in a deep pot with a deep piece of foam over. You only need to lightly press onto the foam to apply ink to the sponge applicator. As Kate said the paint really spreads out a long way. You can also use then on stamps but not tried that yet. Both Sue and I like these paints they dry very smooth leaving a soft feel to the card. I really would recommend them for use with stencils etc.

With the glimmer mist or other spray inks - they do seem better if you use a sweeping motion when spraying them. Recently found that once you have sprayed them quickly run roll of tissue (kitchen roll or toilet roll ok) over the ink in single direction. This is great as it tones the colour down a touch, help dry faster and more even.
