Very nice Tina, she is nuts if she doesn't like it.
I take it to be end of year.

blimey, it seems to me that being the tutor of either you or your girls is an excellent thing. better than most end of term gifts i dare say.

And Tina, just remember I am always thought of as a bit batty too, and I just love, love, love it. Wish for the first time in my life I was a teacher!!!!

Now that's a bit yummy for a teacher. Wink

Anyway, when did all this 'give the teacher a pressie' crap start? Another Americanism. Never used to do it in my day. All my teachers used to get off me was a thump. Tee Hee Am I being a meany? lol.

That's lovely Tina, sure she likes it.

lol @ Lou. Not something ever happened in my school or when Neil was at school. Just starting to creep in when Gregg was there, not that I ever sent anything. Another daft idea from the US that for some reason the brits feel compelled to copy.

It's beautiful Tina. Lucky teacher.

We never gave our teachers anything when we were at school - not
a card or a pressie. OK - I know - it WAS a long time ago.

Very nice hun, I do like those beads.

Each year lily has left a class I have made bracelets for each of the teachers, trying to stick to their fave colours. I personally feel Lily has gained so much from them and the school that its my way of saying thank you, and a thank you from her for their teachings.

We do it for the TAs too, I've not personally had anything, but I know that they do get boxes of chocs and flowers in some classes, and then the chocs are kept in the cupboard and eaten at meetings etc., Mr Green
