My Birthday Cards

Post by thriftycrafter on Wed 28 Apr 2010 - 20:20

They're down off the mantlepiece, and various other places now, so here we go;

Top L Kim, my favourite shade of pink, Top R Richard, lots to feel on this, Lower L Cath, neat and pretty and lower R Lynda, using recycled materials to produce very lovely results
]

Top L Di M, top R Ruth, more lovely textures you probably can't see here, and pearls, Lower L Lorraine, with a background daisy stamp, and bugged strip, Lower R Maria, grogeous ribbon. The colouring on these is terrific, if you didn't know they were handmade you just wouldn't appreciate it.
]

Steph's with lovely vellum insert, you can't see the texture of these papers here, be assured they're lovely, Dawn's decoupage and Patty's Tag with the tweet birdies (sorry just had to)

]

Tina, and DS2 and DD's cards

These are from other friends but the bottomR is made by my friends boy with cerebral palsy, he's 11 the yellow one is DH's offering and the others are from colleagues.
]

Thank you all they made such a lovely display I didn't want to take them down.

Lovely selection, Karelyn.
I'm well impressed with the 11 year olds. He's done a lovely job for you and I like what he did with his ribbon. Mr Green

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

The alternative is remembering to buy one, I've had a made one for the last couple of years LOL
You'd think he'd know that yellow is way down the list of favourite colours LOL Although I can cope with the shade he used, the verse was spot on though and that means a lot.

Love the pink ones, and love the "hope your day is buzzing" sentiment I really need to start thiking of more original things to put on than "Happy Birthday"!!
