Ashby Canal double layout

another stunner ! so pretty too ,i didn't think you could make boating ones "pretty" but you managed it really well , love the bunting too .

i was not that enamoured with the ashby canal ,was you ?

What a gorgeous layout, fab colours, great bunting and of course its got darling Ken in it, so how could it not be ace. Well done mum, that another two off the pile eh?

Wouldn't of thought to use those colours for a canal layout but they work really well. Love the little windmills and bunting.

Gulp - this is a lovely double LO. Patty, I run out of superlatives to
descrbe your work. Like Di, I wouldn't have dreamt of using those
colous for a canal theme, but boy oh boy, it works, and stunningly so.

Well as you probably all found out at the retreat, I am colour blind and so I can only really tell if they "go" - so I don't much care what colours they are ... I just liked these colours and I have such a pile of canal photos to scrap that it seemed a good idea and worked reasonably well.

As above, what more can I add, the windmills and bunting are great and I even like the ric rac which is something, I don't like it too much after having overdosed on it as a child. It was on every turn down mark on all our clothes in that generation. Perhaps that's a cue for another LO.
