Ruth's Retreat Pics 4

Post by WeirdCat on Mon 8 Mar 2010 - 16:08

This class was about using paint in different ways and more importantly doing an 8.5 by 11 layout when the most popular size is 12x12. As you can see mine ended up as 12x12 as having done 8.5 x11 I don't really like the size, however I do like the idea of creating on a smaller size piece of card then adhering it ot a plain piece so will use this again. The white circles are from a plastic up dipped in paint. Another thing you wouldn't normall think about using is the frame on the second page. If you look at the die cut on the first page you will see the indents match the frame on the second page, we cut round the edge strip of the die cut.

I keep saying how great all your LOs are Ruth, and they all are.
I don't say things I don't mean. What a good idea to make circles like that
as they look really good.

Ooh paint, yes, ideal for these pics.
You're inspiring me to get some older pics out.

Both lovely. I like the way the photos are mounted on the bottom one.
