bloom

Post by Maria on Sun 21 Feb 2010 - 16:01

well this is one mum did the fiddly bits for me for before she left... the leaves were inked and then clear embossed and are all sparkly in real life. Im pleased with the finished result too.

That's really pretty, and just shows that even just a single flower
can be scrapped effectively.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

That's what I told her Steph. Such a lovely photo deserves a page to itself. The leaves were such fun to do too ... nice to see our shared work up on here. Why, I wonder, did I always get all the fiddly bits though?????

Very pretty, clean looking iykwim. I like the way you have used the skeleton leaves, they are not always the easiest embellishment to put on things.

I wonder, but you made a great job. I just looked at tht photo again
and that flower could almost be an embellishment - it looks 3D. Fabulous.

You inked skeleton leaves??? Well, I'd never have thought of that.

Yes, I ink all those skeleton leaves. Those on this layout are done with coloured ink then clear embossed, but they also work really well with versamark clear ink then coloured (shiny) embossing powders. I always ink both sides though because otherwise they don't colour deeply enough.
