layouts from Patty and Maria

Post by Maria on Tue 16 Feb 2010 - 10:49

well we've been having a nice time and have been quite productive - heres three layouts we've done (mums done most of them to be honest!)

some more ski snaps scrapped

I couldnt believe she was going to make me USE this bit of paper and not just stroke it

and continuing the theme of making me actually USE my stash, love this one best and I did not personally have to sew all those buttons on!

WOW - triple WOW. Three super LOs.
You wouldn't think that white spots on brown would go with snow
photos but it does.
The second one - changes - is lovely, except I want to lift the right
hand side and see the rest of the picture LOL
The final one - I think that is the nicest frame I have ever seen. It is yummy, gorgeous,
stunning, sumptious and anything else which means superb.

Three smashing layouts ladies!
Clever cutting of the diamond pattern, not something I would of thought of doing.

Cracking job, they're all great! I love all of them; but that button frame may have to be scraplifted sometime !

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

O M G !!!!! wow, these are fantastic, I love them all. Think the button one is wonderful, and as a new SBer I can see why all the bits were chosen, shapes etc., brilliant. And Maria, am sure you had a good input in these, bet it was a 40-60 split at least Mr Green Only put that because you said Patty did the buttons. Mr Green

So how does scrapping together work? Love the colours you choose, and a bit awestruck at the number of buttons on the last one, I can't do buttons without making myself. The blue ones are so lovely though I think I could use those.

Wow these are Fabulous, and I spot a cut out flower on the last one like the paper I used for my mini book, loving the buttons too. But I like all of them.

Well Karelyn, the way it works is that we go through all her stash (and boy! has she got some!!) and then choose a sketch or picture of a layout we both like, then we do it between us .... EXCEPT the "between us" bit seemed to come to an abrupt end when it came to sewing on the buttons!!! Still, I didn't mind and I like the layout so much I am going to do it again at home. She also says I am much quicker than she is on the Cuttlebug too (but that is only practice as I've had mine since they first came out).

Whatever we do, we seem to have great fun and it is really lovely doing it together.

I'm sure you do have a good time together, I would if was in either of
your shoes.
LOl about the sewing. I'm with you there Maria. Can't stand sewing
although I would do it for crafting. I don't mean cross stitch but putting bottuns on
like you did. It's mending I hate.
