Bundle of Joy Card

Post by karinlouise on Sun 14 Feb 2010 - 21:28

I downloaded this image free from a site the other day and as I've been trying to build up my stock of baby cards I decided I'd give this a try. I'm not brilliant at colouring, and was worried about getting the skin right, but I think it turned out well. Yellow background a bit insipid but next time I'll know. Didn't want it all to be pink !!!

Aw that is sweet. Actually, I prefer the plainer lighter background as
your eye isn't taken away from the main image.

thanks guys, I printed 6 on the sheet, so am going to colour some more for stand by. A very easy, quick card to make, that looks good.

This is pretty, the colours look right and girly, I do love those scallop shapes.

What a cute image, nice to use it on a card for girl or boy.

thats just it ruth, I'm the same. Have got a list now of cards I want to make, and am just going to work my way through them. Then if anyone asks for a 'so and so' card, I'll have it Mr Green

New home is the hardest for me, don't really have much for it. though I did pick up a racoon stamp with a post box on it, so that could do for start Mr Green
