Kitchen Girl

Post by karinlouise on Tue 26 Jan 2010 - 21:27

LOL, Lily occasionally empties the dishwasher for me, I walked into the kitchen to check on her and spotted the tea towel over her shoulder, something that I have done for years after seeing my Mum do it for years.

Taken in October last year so a fairly up to date one.

She is looking so grown up now!

I always chuck my towel over my shoulder too, one of my friends laughed when she saw me do it one day as she thought she was in a small minority who do it.

She is beautiful, she makes me lose my breath and heart flip constantly. She is so clever as well and I really do forget sometimes that she is only 7 and a half (can't forget the half)

I must admit I am proud of my kitchen. The picture only shows one corner. Though the utensil jar on the far right of the pic is only two foot from the end. Then where I am stood to take the picture has another 4-5 feet behind me. Its actually 17ft long, though don't know width. Thats one of those measurements I remember from when we moved in.

I always wanted a nice big kitchen, dedicated cupboards for everything and a table to eat at (behind me). Our old house had big kitchen but was also a bit of a junk heap.

Martin and a friend fitted this one for us, after martin got the measurements slightly wrong. He forgot to take into account corner bits of the corner cupboards so where the drawers are now in the picture, was where the cooker used to be up until two weeks after we moved in.
