My Big fat diet

Post by gingerjo on Sat 9 Jan 2010 - 21:53

I am not sure if anyone has seen this show, but they had some really good tasty low cal recipes on it.

Website is here http://www.channel4.com/food/on-tv/my-big-fat-diet-show/ episode 2 is this week. The spicy prawn soup and iced tiramisu looked delish!

Also thought the Hairy Bikers Mum knows best show was good too. Some yummy recipes done on that but not healthy, lol.

thanks for that Jo, my parents watch all these diff recipe programmes and then find the recipes.

They decided it was the new 'retirement' thing they were going to do. Nothing is plain and simple for them anymore.

I need some tips on cheap but filling lunches to get me through the day!

Have you got a microwave at work? I used to make up big batches of veg soup and heat them up at work.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

I do the same as Tina. Made parsnip and tomato soup today and will take that to work in a flask tomorrow, or can heat in the microwave.

I LOVE Anna Richardson! I watched the Sex Ed shows she did (with DDs Chloe and Laura) and they were fab. I am annoyed I missed the first one of these - I'll have to watch it on C4oD tomorrow before the next one - at least it doesn't clash with Surviviors
