Willow for Ken

Post by Maria on Sun 3 Jan 2010 - 15:07

and this one, well, you know we planted this weeping willow for Ken.... there used to be 6 or 7 conifers in this corner, that fell in last January's storms. This willow will be much better and its in rememberance of Ken - its near his seat and we are going to put some of his ashes there when mum comes out in February.

Its a simple layout, but Im pleased with it none the less, sometimes less really is more. I was so pleased to have the exact right paper for once.

That's smashing, Maria. Smile

I had some of that paper and have a feeling I used it on a CJ page last year. It's perfect for this though.

Yes it is perfect and I get the feeling Ken appreciated all your, and your Mums work in scrapbooking but would be equally happy with this, which says it all without extra embellishment.
I look forward to seeing how it grows.

Another lovely LO, how long does it take for a willow to become a traditionally shaped willow?
