Sunday's Efforts
None of these felt quite right at the time but I like them now. The first is me and my geeky mates from school, we were all 16 or 17 in the picture, and going to stay in touch forever. I send Christmas cards to a couple, have no idea what two of them are doing and know through friends reunited what another two are doing. The small amount of paper I used is Bella Boulevard Swing Into Sprint with Basic Grey glitzy rub ons in the corners, then Sophie's bloomers for the flowers

This second one is me aged just 3 with my new glasses. The journalling behind the photo tells the story of how mum and dad took me and my baby sister to Brighton Dolphinarium and afterwards asked me if I liked the dolphins, my response was 'What dolphins'. My mum had suspicions already from a much earlier age and they had been dismissed as I passed the year old test but I failed completely my 3 year check up. I don't remember it but my eyes were about -9 so it must have been amazing and weird when I first put them on. Sadly it meant no more siblings as dad blamed himself totally. As it happens we have since found out it was just a random occurance because my pattern of eyesight loss didn't follow his, where as both Rob and Sam definitely have my eye genes but Matthew has his dads because of the time his eyesight worsened. Anyway I could always recognise a JCB and a milk float from a huge distance without glasses. The papers are October Affternoon Cherry Hill, plus thickers, a hatpin and a few other bits

This last one is Sam with a lampshade on his head! The papers are Ohh LaLa for him by My Mind's Eye plus ribbons and buttons

Re: Sunday's Efforts
Lovely.
All that space you have left on the first one, brave of you but it works!
Can really see who the boys look like when seeing you in the glasses one.

Aw the story of your glasses is wonderful, and the way you've done all the pages are beautiful.

Loving the glasses story, terrific journalling, and what a cute piccy, the others are great too, I love the way you've included all your friends, even though you don't know what they're all doing. Life's not all neat and tied up is it, and it's great that your scrapping reflects that.

Lovely LOs and very nostalgic. Have to say I'm not keen on all the space
on the first one though. You know me - I see a space and have to fill it LOL
