lo's from sat's crop

above is an old photo of me and my eldest sister susan when we were 3 and 4 ish i think .it must have been easter cos we always had new dresses for easter and shoes and socks too

this is a great way to use up lots of small pictures that are not good enough to make a lo of their own but you want to remember the moment

Re: lo's from sat's crop
super layouts Kim, if you had said how much you wanted for that pic, I would have had it off you, if you do another, similar with goats on, let me know...
I do like the patchwork idea..
oh and the layout of the house is brilliant.
have you ever looked into having prints made off your originals to sell.

Re: lo's from sat's crop
i am serious...i would pay for a print or the original, when i like something, i don't always know why, just that i do. sometimes i have been teased for not liking stuff i 'should' like, by famous artists.
It is clean, fresh, and very evocative.

Re: lo's from sat's crop
I'm the same as you Sue if I like it I will buy it, I have two pictures that both the artists said were no good but I really liked them, one is a landscape and the chap that painted it was trying to decide where to put the birds which in my opinion it did not need, and I said if he put any in I would not buy it, the other was a acrylic done like a water colour which Lesley did and I loved it, she was going to scrap it but I took it.

Love those layouts! Can't choose a favourite; I love the soft colours of the top one, the photo-mosaic of the bottom one, and...okay, the middle one is my favourite; I really like all those 'layers'.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Oh, they're great, Kim.
What a lovely, lovely pic of you and your sis, hun.
Love the painting one though. Fabulous.

Re: lo's from sat's crop
Hey Kiml dont you DARE say they arent good enough to sell, because they so are, (especially your irises).
These are lovely layouts - i liked your top one best cos it has so many elements and I really love that vintagey look, so soothing.
I was glad to see you celebrating the firs sale with a layout - its an important memory and its a darn good layout too
great idea on the langollen too, for using lots of pics .

All three are smashing Kim, the one with your sister very pretty but think the one with your artwork is really nice.

Re: lo's from sat's crop
Like Suzy , I would have bought the painting. I loved it from the
moment I saw it, and what better than having it signed by the artist.
Kim - you are better than you think. You have critics on here and loads
of us have said how much we love your work.

Re: lo's from sat's crop
They are all great, I used that paper you've got on the top one, but never thought to colour it in, I love what you've done and the lettering. Great Lo with the painting, and Llangollen, that brought back holiday memories for me too. Lovely lot here.
