crowbar, tin cutters (wondered why they didn't open much...lol and brute force...all that just to get a hole to put lavendar in!!!

teabag had no idea i had taken the pic till i started laughing,,,,

I have just found this photo and now you see me at my happiest, with a crow bar and lump hammer in my hands. It was a tough old root.
It's amazing what I can acheive with a hammer! I just love banging.

I use this sort of hammer to flatten my bottle tops between two pieces of wood, one big whack and they are done.

I like the photo of 2 friends in the hearth.

thats cos i like goats..(no surprise there) and Teabag loves her frogs...so its us in disguise...if i put a hidden camera in the eyes of each creature i could keep and eye on the kids...

Very pretty, sweet peas already in flower - mine are only about 18" tall.
Used to have one of the curry plants, really strong smell in the warm weather.
