leigh on sea grid page

Post by Maria on Sat 21 Feb 2009 - 11:10

Well not too much actual crafting on here, but Im quite pleased with this page for my Leigh on sea book - Im so nostalgic about it now I dont live there. None of these photos would have really made a page on their own but its how I remember it - i grew up playing on that beach, used to walk the dog along the towpath there and race my baby brother over the 'curly wurly' bridge.
Thought you might like to see it anyway, seeing as some of you know it.

Ooooooh, that's super, Maria. It really works well.

Some good pics too, especially the top right - love that. Mr Green

That's nice. You'll have to go on a photo taking day when you are
over here. Great idea.

Oh that's a lovely page! Some really nice pics, and a great way to convey a 'feel' for a place.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

Leigh IS indeed a pretty place most of the time - and this layout really does it all credit.

Now I'm glad you put that up, I've never been there but it looks better than my mental picture, you should work for the tourist board. Love the colours and the stitched/silver swirled paper too.

I am really wanting to know more about Leigh on Sea, is it a good place for a dirty weekend...or a family holiday..is it a proper seaside...i went to meet Cubby (off old forum) and we stayed somewhere fairly near chelmsford..which has 'sea' at the end..it was flipping muddy marshes...the 'caravan site' was good...but the entertainer left a lot to be desired...

I love seaside..and i love your grid layout and i love the swirlies.

No, Leigh is about 15 minutes from both those tow (in different directions). Patty lives in leigh, Lynda is in Westcliff (almost Southend)
