1lb extra lean minced beef

2 onions, chopped

4 carrots, chopped

2 tbsp Worcestshire sauce

2 level tbsp tomato puree

¾ pt stock made with beef Bovril

2 lb swede

1 lb celeriac

salt and pepper and a handful of fresh chopped parsley.

			<description>Free on green and one of my faves. I always have some of this in the fridge.



Take a packet of Batchelors pasta in Sauce and cook as directed but using water. No milk or butter.

Chop some peppers, mushrooms, spring onions...etc or anything of your choice.

Beat 3 eggs.

A large dollop (or 250grm tub) of cottage cheese.



Mix the lot together, put into a quiche dish and bake for about 40 mins. Serve warm with salad or cold when you need something to nibble on. </description>

1 med onion chopped

3 rashers lean bacon, finely chopped

4 eggs

S&amp;P

2 x 198g cans of tuna in brine

1 tomato sliced

2 large mush sliced

 

Preheat oven to gas 5/190 c. Dry fry onion with bacon until onion is soft. Place in shallow ovenproof dish. Beat the eggs with seasoning.

198g/7 oz Quark

9tbsp chopped dill

finely grated zest and juice of 1 lemon

3 tbsp capers - optional but certainly adds that certain something

Grated rind and juice of 2 lemons (or 1 lemon and 1 lime)

8 level tbsp granulated sweetener

3 egg yolks and 4 egg whites

2 tbsp hot water

1 sachet gelatine

6oz very low fat fromage frais

pinch of salt OR cream of tartar

			<description>I actually mixed this into a pasta salad today and it worked well, but it's so like a prawn sauce you could use it for that. It's quite thick though. My pasta salads are always enough to serve 4 so if that was the case, it's only ½ syn per portion.

			<description>If you are on a diet where you are allowed Olive oil and soy sauce but don't want the carbs, then grate a raw cauliflower head. Very messy by hand but not too bad if you have a processor.
