I put this 6 inch x 4 inch ZigZag book together so's you can see how it looks finished.

But not decorated: yet! if I ever get a-round-tuit.

It is the one that Goaty and I saw being made at Colemans.

People were trying to write the instructions down with all the measurements being given

half in cetimeters and half in inches.!!!! not easy so I just drew it and worked it out later.

Folks started taking pictures of my rough sketch as it was easier

So, here is my photo, and it is very ...

Not sure this is the right place to put this, sorry if so.

These are the instructions for the double fold card that I used at the workshop I went to, picture in gallery threads.

I have put the measurements as well as a scoreboard placement to help with this. I used the scoreboard but I know that we all have different types though I think most of them have A5/DL scores.

One thing to remember though. The first time I did this I used patterened card and because I turned over the card ...

I've posted this up on Make Something Nice but being lazy, copied it over, lol so sorry if it sounds like I'm speaking to a load of strangers.

To make this little book, you will need a single 12 x 12 sheet of paper or light cardstock. You can use plain and decorate as you choose, or, as I have done with my finished book, use a sheet of double sided cardstock. I used a Scor-Pal for my scoring, but you don't have to have one of these. The pockets in this book are large enough to hold ATC's ...

PIANO HINGE BOOK

Here you go, girls. Thought those of you that haven't done one of these might like it.

To make this book, you will need card, wooden barbeque skewers and thin cord or waxy flax. This tutorial uses waxy flax.

First of all, decide what size book you want to make and how many pages you want. This one is 6 x 6 which is easy to do, using 12 x 12 card. You can make the book any size you want though.

Step 1. Cut your card to the height you want and double the width. If ...

A bit different this one, but quite nice.

Take two pieces of mountboard or heavy cardstock sized 6 1/8th x 3 inches. Cover these with paper of your choice, but make sure the paper is large enough to fold inside. (I glued 2 bits of card together for each cover). Mitre your corners and stick it down.

Cut a piece of black paper (or colour of your choice) that is 8 x 2 inches. Mark a line 1/2 inch in from each side. Place your book covers, insides facing, centrally and against the lines. ...

I use a standard size domino, but you can use any of the available sizes.

DOMINO PREPARATION

The first thing to do is remove the spinner from the centre backs. Flick them out with a piercer or scissor tips. CAREFULLY. (Step 1)

Drill a small hole in the side of the domino. Level it with the centre back line of the dom. (Step 2)

Decorate your doms. You can use inks, paints, papers…anything you choose. The domino in this tutorial was covered with alcohol inks (I use Pinata inks, they’re much ...
