I bought the slice for die cutting because I am disabled it was a fabulous size for me to pick up & move about,but it was very selective about which paper or card it cut, when it cut well it was great but more often than not it ruined the card or whatever else it was cutting at £150.00 it was a lot of money to be so faulty ,if they improve it at a later date I would buy another one.

Serif = Digital Scrapbook Artist

Look what Goaty & Teabag bought yesterday from Colemans Rushden but you can buy it straight from Serif.

It is a super software digi Scrapbooking programme. Lickily we, DH & I have been using Serif right from their 1st version of PagePlus. That gave me a bit of a start into it as I can'y follow instuctions. It is hit and miss but this programme is very easy and I knew that when I watched it demoed yesterday.

Does anyone have one of these and if so what do you think of it?

My Mum has just bought herself one thinking it looked easier to use than my Silent Setter. She got it from QVC but when it arrived she couldn't remember how to use it. Not having seen this one before was unsure myself, we tried this afternoon and couldn't get it to work so I brought it home to play with. Malcolm took one look at it and worked it out straight away, but I don't think it's particularly easy for someone with arthritic ...

Fiskars Threading Water punch

I have recently bought this wonderful edging tool, which turns plain paper/cardstock/vellum into something special. I used it on my "This is My Greece" layout if you want to look at the results. Here's a picture of the actual tool and I can honestly say I am really delighted with it. It is simple to use, as the markings along the top mean you can align the scallops easily so you get no breaks in a 12" edge - presumably you could go on ad infinitum if you wished!!!

Basic Grey Magnetic Precision Cutting Mat

This is excellent. I'm well impressed.

The mat is 15 inches square with the centre being 12 inches so perfect for a LO. It comes with a 17 inch magnetic ruler and some little magnets, so you can hold everything in place whilst putting your LO together and sticking things down.

I used it on my Squirrel LO and it was perfect for holding my cut circles exactly where I wanted them.

My only complaint is the magnets. The coating is very thin and the magnets are very strong, so ...
